Fishing on the River Suir

When you stay at Derryclooney Lodge you can experience thay inner peace on our 1km stretch of the river Suir renowned for its TROUT Fishing one of Irelands premier waterways. This secluded holiday home is only 400m from the river bank with only the sound of birds singing and the grazing of cows to interrupt you.

You can also fish upriver towards Golden along by Athassal Abby or downriver by the famous Swiss Cottage in Cahir. However, you will need a day licence from Golden - Cahir Angling Clubs which are available locally.
